With the comprehensive advancement of financial globalization, various financial institutions are unprecedentedly active, and financial innovation tools are emerging one after another. The shadow banking system has become an important part of the financial system.Since 2008,China's shadow banking business has flourished.Although shadow banking can be an effective complement to the traditional financial system to a certain extent, its high-risk preferences, maturity mismatch,multi-level nesting and implicit redemption commitments bring greater risks to financial institutions. In response to these problems, the state took the opportunity of rectifying financial chaos and incorporated shadow banking into the scope of supervision to promote financial de-leverage and prevent financial risks. At present, the economic situation is becoming more and more complicated. As the shadow banking system finances out,the scale of the shadow banking of commercial banks shows an expanding trend, and its business risks are also expanding. Then, there is a gap between the scale of shadow banking and bank stability. What is the relationship? How does shadow banking affect the stability of commercial banks? These two issues are the issues that this article focuses on.In order to deeply explore the impact of the scale of shadow banking on bank robustness, this paper selects the relevant data of 40 commercial banks in 2011-2018 for research and analysis. In the balance sheet of China's commercial banks, the buying and reselling business and the receivables investment business are typical shadow banking services packed in the same industry. Therefore, this paper chooses these two types of services as the proxy variables of the shadow bank scale. The Z-Score is used to characterize the robustness of commercial banks. The relevant data of 40 commercial banks in 2011-2018 are selected. The multivariate regression model is used to empirically study the impact of commercial banks on the robustness of bank banking.Through the research papers, the following main conclusions are drawn:(1)Capital adequacy ratio arbitrage is one of the important factors affecting commercial banks' shadow banking business.Shadow banking weakens the stability of commercial banks by increasing the volatility of commercial bank yields; The larger the scale of the shadow bank, the worse the stability of the commercial bank;(3)The shadow bank weakens the stability of the commercial bank by increasing the leverage of the commercial bank.In view of the analysis of the data of 40 commercial banks,we know that the current commercial banks want to improve the bank's stability. The effective supervision of shadow banks and prevent them from pushing up the financial leverage brine greater financial risks.
