As a result of the US subprime mortgage crisis that broke out in 2007,shadow banking began to receive extensive attention, which led to a fever of research on shadow banking.China's shadow banking has also achieved continuous development based on different development backgrounds.Although shadow banking in different countries is different in its manifestations, shadow banking is always outside of financial supervision, which can easily lead to systemic risks and regulatory arbitrage.China's financial stability report and the National Working Conference have repeatedly stressed the importance of shadow banking risk supervision, and must guard against financial risks, strengthen the supervision of shadow banking, and increase the transparency of shadow banking. Therefore, research on shadow banking is very important.Practical significance.Although various financial departments have continuously introduced a series of measures to regulate shadow banking, the size of shadow banking is still growing rapidly. This is inextricably linked to the arbitrage of China's banking supervision and the disintermediation of deposits. At the same time, financial innovation and social financing gap are also important reasons for the rapid development of shadow banking. This article starts from the bank's internal mechanism and analyzes the specific reasons why commercial banks continue to carry out shadow banking business under the background of the continuous strengthening of China's financial supervision, and analyzes the bank's equity structure against the shadow from the perspective of shareholder heterogeneity and equity concentration. The influence of banking business; At the same time, through the theory of intermediary conduction effect,it analyzes the conductive role of shadow banking in the relationship between bank equity structure and liquidity. This article mainly selects the annual data of 16 listed commercial banks in China from 2008 to 2016,and analyzes the relationship between the ownership structure of commercial banks, shadow banking business and liquidity risk. The empirical research results show that:(1)ownership concentration has a negative correlation with shadow banking activities;the higher the ownership concentration, the greater the constraints on shadow banking activities;there are significant differences in the effect of different equity nature on shadow banking;(2)The shadow banking business has an inverted U-shaped relationship with bank liquidity. With the increase in the size of shadow banking, the liquidity risk of banks will gradually increase from small to large;(3)The shadow banking business has an intermediary conduction effect on the bank equity structure and bank liquidity.
