T Communication Company has created a brilliant historical record in the domestic mobile phone industry by virtue of the "gemstone" series mobile phones.Since 2004,it has acquired brand A and opened up an international market.Through brand A,it has occupied the markets of Europe,North America and Latin America successively.In 2014,it ranked first in Mexico and Colombia and ranked second in whole Latin American market.However,since 2016,T Communication Company's sales have been declining,resulting in year-on-year losses.On September 30,2016,the company delisted and privatized.On October 9,2017,it sold 49%of its shares at a valuation of $1 billion,and its value shrank by nearly 90%.Using Harvard analytical framework,this paper attempts to analyze T Communications Company's financial situation,explore the causes of its decline,and put forward countermeasuresThis paper analyses T Communications Company's financial situation from four levels and perspectives:strategy,accounting,finance and prospects.The strategic analysis uses Porter's Five Forces Model and SWOT Model to analyze the macro competitive environment of the mobile phone industry,leads to the strategic direction of T Communications Company and evaluates it.The accounting analysis evaluates the accounting quality of the company through the analysis of accounts receivable,fixed assets and inventory as the main subjects.In the financial analysis,we analysised the company's profitability,operating capacity,solvency,growth capacity and cash flow by the horizontal industry comparison and longitudinal historical data comparison.In the foreground analysis,we forecasted the industry development of intelligent terminals,analysised the current strategy of T Communications Company,analysises the company's possible risks,and propose solutionsThis paper considers that:in the external environment,international trade friction is becoming more and more intense,exchange rate and tariff risks are rising,competition in the mobile phone industry is becoming increasingly fierce,and the concentration of head players is increasing year by year.Faced with this situation,T Communications Company has many problems,such as backward product replacement speed and innovative technology,low coverage of sales channels in the open market,lack of brand awareness in the high-end market,large capacity scale,low efficiency,backward delivery speed and high management cost rate.Through the analysis of strategy,accounting and finance,this paper suggests that T Communications Company should strengthen the existing core market,strengthen global sales and marketing capabilities to seize more market share.At the same time,it should take the opportunity to expand emerging markets,establish open market channels,rebuild its own T brand and increase investment on new technologies that users pay attention to.The company should also focus on the key advantages of products in product planning,fully seize 5G opportunities,improve product structure,open up high-end markets and enhance brand value.The third,the company should rebuild its cost and efficiency advantages,pay attention to inventory,receivables and exchange rate risks,and do a good job of risk control in complex external environment.
