Research On The Influence Mechanism Of Enterprise Collaborative Innovation Risk On Innovation Performance

As the trend of economic globalization continues to deepen and the technological innovation becomes more and more complex,enterprises can no longer meet their survival and development needs only by independent innovation.The urgency of seeking and acquiring external innovation resources to make up for their own constraints is becoming more and more obviously.In this context,collaborative innovation has become its inevitable choice and development trend.By collaborating with external entities to obtain the required innovation resources,enterprises can achieve resource integration and complementary advantages,and provide support and guarantee for continuous innovation and healthy development of enterprises.However,collaborative innovation is a complex system engineering.Its complexity,multi-agent and dynamic characteristics make the innovation activities highly uncertain,and often accompanied by various risks,which could affect the smooth development and implementation of innovation activities,thus affecting the improvement of the corporative innovation performance and resulting in the consequences of difficult to exert competitive advantage.However,the relationship between risk and innovation performance and its path of action have not been consistently concluded.Based on this,from the perspective of enterprise collaborative innovation risk,this paper identified the risk factors in the process of enterprise collaborative innovation and studied the relationships between different risks and innovation performance.Then,the paper introduced synergistic effect and dynamic ability as a mediator and a moderator,and deeplyprobed into the impact of corporate collaborative innovation risk on innovation performance and its mechanism.Through a questionnaire survey and empirical analysis of 226 high-tech listed companies,it was found that:First,the six types of risks of enterprise collaborative innovation(innovation elements input risk,moral risk,resource sharing risk,organizational synergy risk,market risk and benefit distribution risk)all had a significant hindrance to innovation performance.And the role of six types of risks on innovation performance is not completely consistent.Among them,organizational synergy risk had the greatest hindrance to innovation performance,with an impact value of-0.268,followed by benefit distribution risk,resource sharing risk and innovation elements input risk.The impacts of market risk and moral risk were relatively small,and the impact value were-0.134 and-0.126.Second,enterprise collaborative innovation risks(except market risk)hindered the improvement of innovation performance by suppressing the synergistic effect.That is,the synergistic effect played a significant mediator role.And there was a full mediator role in the relationship between innovation elements input risk,moral risk,resource sharing risk,organizational synergy risk and innovation performance.Third,the dynamic capability of enterprises could negatively regulates the relationship between enterprise collaborative innovation risks(except benefit distribution risk)and innovation performance.In addition,the regulating effect of dynamic capabilities is different for different risks.Among them,the moderating effect on the risk of innovation elements input was the greatest,and the regulation effect on moral risk was relatively small.Finally,based on the research results,this paper put forward corresponding suggestions from the aspects of enhancing risk prevention and control awareness,promoting the exert of synergy effect and dynamic capability formation,in order to provide reference for enterprises to effectively carry out collaborative innovation risk management to promote innovation performance and sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.
