Optimization Of T Company Assembly Line Based On Lean Production

The more progress that the manufacturing industry made in China,the more important that the lean production which enterprises value.Lean production,from Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan,in the earliest was known as Toyota production methods.The main idea of lean production is to identify waste in production,and as much as possible to eliminate it.Many lean production management methods are also expanded around this idea.With the growing competition in the market and continuous innovation in marketing practices,effectively saving the cost of production and reducing defective products is a powerful tool for enterprises to enhance their market competitiveness,and lean production precisely meets these needs.At first,this paper introduces some related theories of lean production,and then explains the development and operation process of aircraft assembly line.By analyzing both the structure and working system features of T’s aircraft assembly line and workers’ assembly process,we can confirm a clear link around the various parts of the aircraft assembly line.Based on the simulation software first introduced by Plant Simulation and the structural relationship of the aircraft assembly line from T company.this paper establishes a virtual model of assembly line,We can analysis the balance of assembly line by simulating the actual operation process of assembly line,and identify the waste in assembly line.After running a computer simulation model,we discover the problem in T’s assembly line,its rational analysis and the causes of the problem.Aiming at the results by analyzing the existing problems,it can be proved that lean manufacturing methods can improve the situation,like 5S site management method,multi-function employees,ECRS law,etc.Bring the optimized part into the system to simulate the operation through the simulation model,and then observe and analyze the enhancing effect on the balance of production line and production efficiency.
