Pear is one of the most important fruits in Hebei Province, and Cangzhou is the main pear-producing area in Hebei Province. In recent years, the price of pears in Hebei Province is unstable, which is lower than the national level, and has a great impact on the income of fruit farmers. The important reason is that there are many circulation links from the fields to the dining-table,the circulation chain is longer, and most of the added value is not shared by the fruit farmers. This study takes Botou where is the main producing area of pear in Cangzhou as an example, the general pattern of pear circulation was summarized through a large number of field surveys. The value-added situation of farmers in different circulation models and the impact on farmers' incomes were analyzed and compared, and problems in circulation were identified. The purpose of this paper is to optimize the circulation mode of pear and improve the benefits of fruit farmers and provide valuable countermeasures and suggestions for the transformation and upgrading of high-quality development of pear fruit in Hebei Province. The research methods combining case analysis and quantitative analysis are used in this paper to investigate the value added by farmers, cooperatives, leading enterprises and wholesalers in the pears circulation of Botou City. The value-adding situation of different circulation models was studied by analyzing a large amount of research data.First, the development characteristics of the pear industry in Cangzhou and Botou City were analyzed by using the literature analysis method and the field research method. The important position of Pear of Cangzhou and Botou in Hebei Province was clearly defined.Second, the basic characteristics of the circulation entities including farmers, cooperatives, wholesalers, leading enterprises and retailers were analyzed through field research on Botou.Third, value chain tools are used to measure the value-added of farmers under the circulation mode driven by leading enterprises and wholesalers. The factors influencing the value-added of farmers' interests are analyzed from two aspects by the following indicators: age, planting scale, planting years, selected circulation mode, input cost, organization mode and transaction cost. The main conclusions of this paper through the analysis of the circulation pattern of Botou City pears are as follows: first, under the circulation mode driven by the leading enterprises, the farmers have the highest profit, and leading enterprises can scale the sales of farmers to achieve added value.second, farmers' choice of different circulation modes is mainly affected by their own characteristics and transaction costs.Third,at present, the pear planting of farmers in Botou is too scattered, and there is no large-scale sales, and the degree of organization is low,and the traditional circulation mode needs to be reformed. The paper puts forward some suggestions for the problems existing in the pear circulation mode of Botou City: first suggestion is to improve the degree of organization of farmers;second suggestion to train new professional farmers;third suggestion to innovate the circulation mode of pear.Fourth suggestion to establish a circulation information platform;Fifth suggestion to provide institutional guarantees. The innovation of this paper is based on the perspective of farmers, using the value chain tools to compare the differences of value-added income of farmers under different models, and provide valuable suggestions for optimizing the pear circulation model and improving the income of pear farmers in Hebei Province.
