In recent years,Chinese enterprises have paid more and more attention to charitable donations.According to the “2017 China Charity Donation Report” issued by the China Charity Federation,in 2017,Chinese enterprises were the main force of donations,totaling 96.334 billion yuan,an increase of 6.07% over 2016.The increase in the amount of charitable donations year after year also confirms that more enterprises in China are actively involved in public welfare undertakings.Corporate culture is a shared value and code of conduct among corporate members in the process of long-term business development.It will imperceptibly affect the way of interaction between members of the enterprise and between members of the enterprise and external stakeholders,and form a soft constraint on the behavior of corporate members.Affect corporate behavior.As a non-market-oriented behavior of corporate public welfare donations,it is naturally affected by the subtle influence of corporate culture.Based on this,this paper takes corporate culture as a research perspective and explores the relationship between corporate culture and corporate charitable donations.This paper selects the top 500 listed companies in China in 2018 for the empirical test,and uses the qualitative research method and Nvivo11 software to conduct in-depth analysis and analysis of the open corporate cultural materials,and builds seven first-level categories including scientific and technological innovation ideas and selfless dedication ideas.The corporate culture model achieves quantitative measurement of culture through the design of corporate culture measurement system.In the process of corporate culture affecting public welfare donation,the financial redundancy is added to adjust the relationship between corporate culture and public welfare donation and the role of financial redundancy in this process.Through theoretical analysis and empirical test,this paper confirms that(1)the comprehensive score of corporate culture is positively related to the level of corporate public welfare donation.The higher the corporate culture comprehensive score,the higher the level of public welfare donation;(2)Different corporate culture types affect public welfare Donation behavior,selfless dedication and concept-oriented enterprises have higher levels of public welfare donations than other concept-oriented enterprises;(3)Corporate financial redundancy positively affects the level of corporate charitable donations,and affects corporate cultures Significant positive regulation.This paper explains the corporate charitable donation behavior from the new perspective of corporate culture.It provides empirical evidence for exploring the role of corporate culture in charitable donations and the indiscriminate factors affecting corporate charitable donations.The enlightenment and significance of the research conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,enterprises should improve corporate culture construction,advocate selfless dedication corporate culture,promote corporate charitable donation behavior,enhance corporate image through public welfare donation,and realize the unification of corporate social responsibility and corporate value.Second,the government should strengthen support for corporate culture construction,actively advocate a culture of selfless dedication in society,and pay attention to the soft binding effectiveness of informal institutions on members of the organization. |
