Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has maintained rapid growth for nearly 40 years.At present,China's economic development has entered a new normal period and China's industry has also entered a critical moment when new and old kinetic energy needs to be transformed.Promoting the upgrading of industrial structure has become one of the important tasks of China at this stage.In recent years,with the advent of economic globalization and the in-depth development of electronic information technology,E-commerce has become an important part of the national economy and social information.As an important application of the new round of information technology revolution,E-commerce plays an important role in the transformation of China's economic growth mode and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.Therefore,this paper studies the impact of E-commerce development on industrial structure upgrading,which has certain practical significanceThis paper first analyzes the development status of China's E-commerce,and combines the "E-Commerce Index System"proposed by the China Internet Research and Development Center(CII)in 2001 and the existing scholars' research to build China's e-commerce evaluation index system.This indicator system selects 12 indicators from four aspects:infrastructure,transaction scale,human capital and development potential.And this paper uses the coefficient of variation method and other mathematical methods to measure and analyze the development level of China's e-commerce from 2000 to 2017.The results show that the level of e-commerce development in China has increased rapidly and steadily.Secondly,this paper sorts out the status quo of China's industrial structure adjustment,and measures and analyzes the status of industrial structure upgrading from the two dimensions of industrial structure rationalization and advanced.The results show that China's industrial structure has gradually evolved towards rationalization and high-level evolution.Then,from the theoretical level,the paper studies the influence mechanism of E-commerce to promote industrial structure upgrading and clarifies e-commerce to promote industrial structure upgrading by influencing technological progress and innovation and influencing changes in social demand structure.Finally,this paper establishes a vector autoregressive(VAR)model,and uses co-integration test and Granger causality test to conduct an empirical test on the promotion of E-commerce to the upgrading of industrial structure.The research results show that the development of China's E-commerce has a significant role in promoting the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure,and this promotion is on the rise.In addition,the promotion effect of E-commerce on the upgrading of industrial structure is dynamic.In the short term,the promotion effect of E-commerce development on industrial structure upgrading has certain volatility.In the long term,the promotion effect of E-commerce development on industrial structure upgrading tends to be stable.Combined with the research conclusions,this paper proposes that we should continue to promote the integration of E-commerce and three industries to further promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.
