Research On New Village Construction Development Model And Performance Evaluation

Agricultural issues,peasant issues,and rural issues have been highly valued by the Chinese government.At present,infrastructure systems in rural areas of China have been gradually improved and the living environment in rural areas are better than ever.However,the construction of new villages still facing many problems.Under this background,it is important to explore and evaluate the new village construction process and thus provide suggestions to improve the process.This paper defines the concept of new village construction and constructs the theoretical framework of the research from the multi-disciplinary dimension and multi-theoretical perspective.The research further combs the development process of China's new village construction,from the endogenous and external perspectives.This paper identified the influencing factors of the new village construction and clarify the dynamic mechanism of the new village construction and propose the core elements in the new village construction model.Then,the research proposes the performance evaluation indicators of the new village construction and builds an evaluation model.Finally,the study takes the construction of Dazu District of Chongqing as an example and evaluates its new villages' construction performance.Based on the evaluation results,this paper provides suggestions to improve the performance of the new village construction in Dazu District.This paper classifies the studied new village construction models in Dazu District of Chongqing as industrial construction mode,intelligent modeling construction mode,multi-dimension construction mode,and pastoral Construction mode.Based on the surveyed data,this paper adopts data envelopment analysis(DEA model)to evaluate the performance of the new village construction in Dazu District.The industrial construction mode,the intelligent modeling mode,and the rural construction are shown effective,while the pastoral model is not effective.Finally,this study provides suggestions to improve the performance of the new villages construction in the Dazu District...
