The mountain tourism resources of Xigaze in Tibet are the most representative and the highest rank of mountain tourism resources in Tibet.However,most of the mountain tourism resources have not been fully developed and utilized,and the mountain tourism products that have been utilized are simple outdoor sports modes.This paper aims to explore the development ideas and strategies of mountain tourism in Xigaze,enrich the basic theories of mountain tourism,and provide systematic,scientific and complete theories and methods for the development and research of mountain tourism in Xigaze.This paper base on the theory of RMP as the analysis perspective,and comb and analyze Xigaze mountain tourism resources through the field survey method,literature analysis method,expert interview and comparative analysis,sum up method and so on.On the basis of investigation and analysis of resource conditions,market demand,this paper will analyze and design the product type of mountain tourism and its space layout.Besides,this paper will learn the successful cases at home and abroad,integrate information and put forward countermeasures for mountain tourism in Xigaze from the following six aspects: resource development and protection,marketing mode,product type,infrastructure,community participation and intellectual support.First,from the aspects of mountain tourism resources: this paper specifically elaborates the specific landform the mountain resources,water resources,valleys,mountain hot spring resources and biological resources in Xigaze mountain natural tourism resources,and analyze the culture of mountain and revolving around mountains.What's more,it also analyze the modern mountain spirit and resources characteristics of Xigaze mountain tourism.And then it can conclude that mountain tourism resources in Xigaze are rich while the resource development condition is fragile and unbalanced,which leads to the tourists' low interest in the resources.Second,from the aspects of mountain tourism market: through the analysis of Xigaze tourism situation,mountain tourism market situation and the characteristics of mountain tourism market,we can see that development of tourism market and mountain tourism market of Xigaze is good.Besides,Xigaze mountain tourism market has the features of special uniqueness and monopoly,and has a perfect service system.But its target customers' demand is high,and it mainly focuses on those who have a good culture and diverse psychological characteristics,good economic conditions and those who have both strong physical conditions and strong psychological quality.Third,from the aspects of mountain tourism products: Mainly adopts SWOT analysis method,the specific of xigaze mountain tourism product its own advantages and disadvantages were analyzed,and it is concluded that the products of xigaze mountain tourism are high level and strong appeal,but a single product type,Therefore,the products are less suitable for the crowd,and culture connotation development of mountain tourism is insufficient,mountain tourism product development meets great difficulties.What's more,efforts in product promotion is not enough and management concept is relatively backward.Of xigaze mountain tourism development opportunities and potential threats were analyzed,and policy support of rapid development and the tourism market of xigaze mountain tourism product development provides a good opportunity,but also face Weaknesses,the cost of product development is high,the challenges of the surrounding tourist areas,the potential threat of the plateau and polar climate.Based on the detailed analysis of resources,market and products of mountain tourism in Xigaze through using RMP,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of mountain tourism in Xigaze.First,we need to strengthen the exploitation and protection of mountain tourism resources in Xigaze;Secondly,we need to innovate marketing methods on the basis of market-oriented principles.Thirdly,we need to enrich mountain tourism products and make mountain tourism bigger and stronger.Fourth,we need to improve the mountain tourism infrastructure;Fifth,we need to coordinate the multi-interest relations,pay attention to the participation of mountain community residents;Sixth,we need to improve the talent training mechanism to provide support for mountain tourism management.
