The Research On Value Evaluation Method Of Listed Commercial Banks Based On EVA Method

With the development of banking operations,banks will continue to carry out mergers and capital restructuring activities.In order to better expand the scale and profits of commercial banks,it is an urgent issue to reasonably evaluate the corporate value of commercial banks.Therefore,among many enterprise value assessment methods,according to the particularity of commercial banks,choosing an appropriate method to evaluate the corporate value of commercial banks has become an important mean.Therefore,this paper compares various valuation methods of enterprise value,selects a more appropriate and efficient value evaluation method,provides reference for the selection of enterprise value evaluation methods of listed commercial banks,and promotes the verification of banking value in the financial system.This paper uses the EVA value evaluation model to evaluate the value of commercial banks.On the basis of expounding the concept and influencing factors of commercial banks and analyzing the business characteristics of commercial banks,this paper clarifies the asset value assessment method,market comparison method,cash flow discount method and option pricing method etc.and their limitations,which lead to the superiority of EVA value evaluation method applied to commercial bank value evaluation.Then,based on the introduction of EVA theory and EVA model assumptions,the EVA related accounting subjects are adjusted to construct an EVA two-stage value assessment model.Based on the above research basis,the investment data of China Merchants Bank for the past five years is used as an empirical analysis object to carry out EVA value assessment,and discuss what factors affect the results and extent of China Merchants Bank's enterprise value assessment,and thus obtain a means to effectively improve the corporate value of China Merchants Bank.Based on the comparison with the evaluation results of other value assessment models,the superiority of the EVA value assessment model is obtained.
