Innovation is an important manifestation of the company's competitiveness and a key factor for the company to maintain its competitive advantage. The realization of enterprise innovation performance growth is one of the important strategies for enterprises to implement innovation activities, and it is an important means for enterprises to make up for the technological distance between enterprises and shorten the gap between enterprises.Under the background of the rapid development of science and technology and the accelerated upgrading of information technology, the life cycle of industrial technology is continuously shortened. Therefore, whether it is a high-tech enterprise or a traditional enterprise,in order to carry out innovative activities and continuously produce innovative performance, they have chosen open innovation activities to enhance their innovation capabilities. In this process, companies collaborate with other companies and integrate resources within and outside the company.Enterprises accelerate the speed and advantages of innovation by cooperating and using resources. Therefore, enterprises are using the open innovation activities to enhance their innovation performance, especially through the implementation of open innovation across technology groups to obtain more innovative resources, which is very important for the future development of the company.Through the description of the background, this paper explores the logistics industry in the traditional industry based on the open innovation theory, the innovation ability theory and the innovation performance theory. The innovation openness of the open innovation across the technology group will have an effect on the innovation performance of the enterprise.First of all, this paper discusses the research basis in detail, and on this basis, rationally constructs a relationship model between open innovation and corporate innovation performance across technology groups.Taking the traditional industry logistics industry as the research object, from 2000 to 2018,the patent citation data between the top 50 enterprises in the logistics industry was collected. With the help of social network analysis software Ucinet,Gephi,Vosviewer and statistical analysis software SPSS.Method of cluster analysis, patent network analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. This paper discusses the impact mechanism of cross-technical group innovation and opening up on the innovation performance of enterprises in the logistics industry. After empirical test, this paper comes to the following conclusions: first, the breadth of open innovation across technical groups negatively affects innovation performance.Second, open innovation depth across technical groups positively affects innovation performance.Thirdly, the innovation ability of enterprises has a significant negative moderating effect on the relationship between the breadth of inwardly oriented open innovation and innovation performance of cross-technology groups.Fourth, there is no moderating effect of enterprise's innovation ability on the relationship between introverted and open innovation depth and innovation performance of cross-technology groups. The main purpose of this paper is to explore how the open innovation of cross-technology groups can play a role in the innovation performance of enterprises through the innovation ability of enterprises in the development process of logistics industry. This will guide enterprises to effectively implement the openness of open innovation across technology groups, and further guide enterprises in traditional industries to rapidly cultivate and enhance innovation performance and achieve sustainable development.
