The Impact Of Innovation Strategic Alliances On Corporate Technological Innovation

At present,the innovation paradigm of enterprises has quietly changed,and has gradually changed from the earlier traditional closed to the modern open,because blindly purchasing technology or simply relying on technology introduction has become a bottleneck restricting the sustainable development of enterprises.With the change of policy orientation and innovation paradigm,more and more enterprises have begun to adjust their strategic play,and strengthen technical cooperation with the same industry or across industries while focusing on fully digesting and enriching internal knowledge.Many innovative entities actively seek and form innovative strategic alliances to achieve the cultivation and upgrading of their core technologies and enhance their independent innovation capabilities.Studying the impact of innovative strategic alliances on technological innovation among companies,to explore whether strategic alliances of open innovation can help eliminate the “island phenomenon” in technological innovation.The technology transfer brought about by the “island phenomenon” in science and technology innovation and the inefficiency of science and technology innovation are important obstacles that influence innovation to lead economic development.Can innovation strategic alliances make the interaction,synergy and efficiency of all subjects,all aspects and links be one? A question worth exploring.This paper takes the innovation strategic alliance and the ChiNext companies with active innovation activities as the research object,analyzes the influence of innovation strategic alliance on technological innovation and its mechanism of action.Based on the perspective of technological innovation capability,it provides a new synergy effect for strategic alliances.An important source of evidence and direct evidence of support for the synergy of the alliance.This paper divides technological innovation into three points: innovation output,technology diversity and technological breakthrough.It forms three paths to study the impact of innovation strategic alliance on the three levels of technological innovation.It uses the "PSM-DID" to find that enterprise implementation Innovative strategic alliances have a significant role in promoting technological innovation.In terms of multiple indicators reflecting innovation capabilities,companies with innovative strategic alliances are stronger than those without innovative strategic alliances;whether using new patent indicators,new invention patent indicators,new patent category indicators or technical diversity The indicators have steadily verified that innovative strategic alliances have promoted the improvement of corporate innovation capabilities.It is further found that continuous innovation strategic alliances have a stronger role in technological innovation than the first innovation strategic alliance,and continuous innovation strategic alliances can promote technological innovation.In addition,this paper also explores how the form of alliance affects the impact of innovation strategic alliances on technological innovation.The study finds that compared with equity-based alliances,the conclusion of innovative strategic alliances in the form of contractual alliances can promote technological innovation output and technological breakthrough innovation.However,equity-based strategic alliances are more conducive to technological diversity innovation than contractual strategic alliances.Based on China's economic environment and institutional background,this paper studies whether and how innovative strategic alliances affect enterprise technological innovation,which helps us better understand the innovative behavior of Chinese enterprises.In the past,literature research and technological innovation often took the perspective of R&D expenses and patent output,and more consideration was made on the innovation of “quantity”.In addition to measuring technological innovation from the perspective of patent output,this paper is more from technical diversity and patent categories.From the perspective of “quality” innovation,the combination of the two is more comprehensive and more systematic.This paper provides theoretical basis and empirical evidence for our in-depth understanding of the synergy effect of Chinese enterprises in initiating innovative strategic alliances,and provides decision-making basis and policy recommendations for governments and enterprises to focus on improving their innovation capabilities.
