The rapid development of technology,knowledge and networking has made enterprises in a disruptive changeable age.Innovation can respond to and drive change,and it plays a vital role in the survival and development of an organization.From long-term development,Enterprise not only needs to exploit existing information and capabilities to ensure short-term success(Explorative Innovation),but needs to explore new information and possibilities to achieve long-term prosperity(Exploitative Innovation).However,:it is often difficult for enterprises to do so.Resource constraints faced by organizations force choices between explorative and exploitative innovation.Delayed and uncertain returns lead more enterprises to choose exploitative innovation.By discussing alternate futures,foresight can bring future insights into the present and help companies better prepare for tomorrow.Therefore,this study focuses on the improvement of explorative innovation,discusses how enterprises should avoid lost of explorative innovation while paying attention to the exploitative innovation,and whether the organizational foresight can impact on the two kinds of innovation differently and compensates for explorative innovation.The study focused on core proposition"can organizational foresight and its three sub-dimensions of environmental scanning,strategic selection,integrating capabilities compensates for explorative innovation while effectively promote exploitative innovation?",introduced deliberate learning,and discussed in detail the ways in which organizational foresight drives explorative and exploitative innovation.Specifically,there are three sub-questions:First,What are the activities of organizational foresight,explorative innovation and exploitative innovation?Second,what are the different effects of organizational foresight and its dimensions on explorative innovation and exploitative innovation?Third,what role does deliberate learning play in organizational foresight influencing explorative and exploitative innovation?The research adopts scientific research methodology and employs hierarchical regression analysis and other methods to conduct in-depth analysis of the above research problems.The research results show that:The influence of organizational foresight,environmental scanning and integrating capabilities on explorative innovation is stronger than that on exploitative innovation.There is no positive correlation between strategic selection and explorative innovation,but it promotes exploitative innovation.Deliberate learning plays a part of mediating role in the relationship between organizational foresight and explorative innovation and exploitative innovation.This paper not only enriches the related researches in the fields of organizational foresight,deliberate learning,explorative innovation and exploitative innovation,but also provides an effective way to improve explorative innovation and exploitative innovation.
