Under the impact of today's big data and new retail concepts,chain retailers need to constantly innovate,change and quickly integrate into the development trend,in order to fully challenge the impact of online sales on the traditional retail industry.From the era of online traffic to the era of offline super users,the companies tested are the management of brands,people,and sustainable development of goods.A large number of studies have shown that the scientific management and training of the store manager's talent team by chain enterprises is the cornerstone for improving the competitiveness of enterprises.ZS company is a large-scale chain retail enterprise,and the store manager is the core force group in the company's human resources.Strengthening the construction of this group is an extremely important part of the company's human resources management and development,and the competency evaluation of the store manager is the basis of all human resources management policies.This requires the establishment of a competency assessment model for store managers,the design of a scientific evaluation index system,the use of reasonable evaluation methods,such personnel to make an accurate measurement and evaluation of the competency.This article mainly studies the construction and operation of ZS company's shop leader's competency model through the way of literature and case study..Firstly,the paper introduces the important role of the store manager for the company's management,and analyzes the current situation of the human resources of the store manager team in ZS company.Then,on this basis,the paper uses Behavioral Event Interview(BEI)to construct the competency model of the store manager from dimensions of knowledge,ability and quality,and uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to calculate the weight of the competency factors.Thirdly,the competency model has been applied in recruitment,training and performance appraisal.At the same time,it analyzes the safeguard measures of applying competency model.The introduction of competency model into human resource management of project managers can promote the transformation of recruitment management from ex post management to ex ante management,reduce the risk and cost of employing personnel,ensure that training and development can be linked with the values and Strategies of the organization,make the performance appraisal take into account the process and results,and realize the overall sustainable development of shop managers.Over-competency model is used to evaluate store managers regularly to ensure that they can develop smoothly along career planning channels.
