A Study On The Development Model Of Tourist Towns With Lake Resources

With the improvement of China's economy and the extension of paid vacation,tourism is turning from sightseeing tour to leisure tour.Lake tourism and tourism town are important forms of leisure tour's products.However,the tourist development of most lakes in China is still in a primary stage.Meanwhile,tourism town as a new model of town development has become a research hotspot.How to improve the level of lake tourism and tourism town and change their development model become a difficult problem of Chinese tourism.Starting with the characteristics of lake tourism resources and tourist towns,this paper analyzes several development models of lake tourism and tourist towns and provides an overview of some influential tourism planning theories and the research findings of lake tourism and tourist towns at home and abroad.The paper focuses on the Haikou Town,next to Fuxian Lake in Yunnan Province.It first analyses the basic conditions of its tourist development,such as natural environment,location and transportation.Then it investigates and classifies the tourism resources of Fuxian Lake basin,analyzing the current problems in its development and offering some solutions.Lastly,the research results are applied to the tourism development of Haikou Town.This thesis through comprehensive analysis of lake tourism and tourism town,offers some suggestions and strategies for Haikou Town's tourist development on the premise of protecting lake resources.
