Mongolia is the second largest animal husbandry country in the World.The wool carpet industry has a huge developing capacity with the development of the animal husbandry economy in the country.Mongolia has a huge market potential for rapid development of wool products and,nevertheless the domestic carpet company does not have the advanced technology of Belgium,Germany,and other countries,it has an advantage of raw materials resource.On the other hand,the cost of associated production is high and enormous investment is needed for the equipment sector.Therefore,in comparison of the Mongolian carpet industry to other countries' the production cost is outrageous;in the competitive market it is not realistic to do any comparison in marketing,technology,and innovation fields.The carpet industry of Mongolia has a potential to become the market leader in the future through its reform and development.In the scope of this work the research will be done based on the strategic management theory at the Mongolian Carpet Company,as an object,using PEST Analysis,SWOT Matrix,Porter Model's five sources,and other leading business model such as strategic analysis tools and methods.This paper also analyzes the macro environment and internal environment of Erdenet Carpet company and proposes that should choose a growth-oriented development strategy,continue to expand the international market,and drive development and innovation to gain competitive advantage.And market share,the specific use of cost leadership strategy to achieve corporate goals.The development strategy of Mongolian Erdenet Carpet Company helps the Erdenet to seize opportunities and avoid risks in the future operation process.Withthe support of relevant policies of Mongolia,it will increase the market share of domestic and foreign enterprises and help enterprises grasp.The direction of its own development,timely take appropriate measures for possible problems,such strategic choices are conducive to the company to enhance its core competitiveness and establish a monopoly position.Secondly,the formulation of the development strategy of Mongolian Erdenet Carpet Company provides reference and guidance for the development of other Mongolian wool carpet company research strategy.
