In the current economic environment, market competition is becoming more and more fierce. In the process of cost management, enterprises generally have problems of waste of resources and relatively backward management mode, resulting in higher cost and expenditure, which in turn affects the overall income of the enterprise. The cost management method based on value chain provides a new idea for enterprise cost management optimization, helping enterprises achieve the goal of cost reduction and efficiency increase to obtain low-cost competitive advantage. Therefore, the cost management optimization model under the value chain thinking has attracted more and more attention from enterprises. This paper selects F company as the object, and analyzes the cost management under the company's internal value chain through the case study method.Firstly, the existing literature is reviewed and combed. Then, based on the current situation of F company's cost management, combined with the company's internal value chain to explore the cost drivers of R&D,procurement, production and sales. On this basis, the cost management optimization strategy is analyzed. The study finds that cost management optimization based on internal value chain can effectively help enterprises to value-added judgments in the operation chain of the value chain, improve the efficiency of value-added operations by eliminating non-value-added operations, reduce unnecessary costs, and ultimately improve economic benefits. This research will help to enrich the theoretical results in the field of cost management, and provide an empirical reference for other companies, especially value chain companies,to use internal value chains for cost management optimization.
