Consumers pay more and more attention to the quality and freshness of food,with the consumption upgrade driven by rapid development of economy and the constant urbanization.This leads to the surging demand for frozen and refrigerated products.As a result,the fresh food e-commerce is booming with compound growth rate of greater than 40%.Cold chain logistics,the key to ensure the quality of fresh food,has also developed rapidly in recent years.The scale of the industry has increased from 67.27 million tons in 2012 to 125 million tons in 2016,with a compound growth rate of 16.75%.Even so,the cold chain logistics industry in China is under-developed and cannot meet the surging demand.Thegap between the operation and management level,quality control level,information technology level and equipment level of the whole industry and those of the developed countries such as the United States,Canada,Germany,and Japan is still considerable.The research in related fields in China is still in the exploratory stage and lacks mature theory and experience for reference.Therefore,it is necessary to study how to control the quality of cold chain logistics.Therefore,the study of how to control the quality of cold chain logistics has important practical significance for the improvement of industry theory,and has practical value for the improvement of quality control of enterprises in the industry.This paper focuses on the analysis of the current quality control system of Shunfeng Cold Chain(SF Cold Chain)and the challenges faced by SF Cold Chainquality control Based on qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,the characteristics and causes of the SF Cold Chain quality control system are identified.According to the development trend of domestic cold chain logistics industry and the challenges faced by SF cold chain,the following suggestions are put forward:1)Turning the divisionmanagementsystem to the independent company system,2)Learning from HAVI,a leading cold chain player and whose Chinese business acquired by SF,3)Upgradeing the current information technology system to big data analysis system and business intelligence,4)Strengthening the internal quality training and implementing 5S activities to improve the service quality of SF Cold Chain. |
