The telecommunications industry is a technology-intensive industry,a basic industry,a strategic industry,and a leading industry for the national economy.In recent years,China's telecommunications industry has initially formed the competition pattern of China Mobile,China Unicom,and China Telecom as the “big three” telecommunications industry..Although China Mobile currently has the absolute advantage of market share,with the continuous promotion and maturation of 4G networks and the continuous introduction of new technologies,mobile communications are facing new opportunities for development.Under such a market background,the expansion of the 4G market has largely determined the position of the enterprise in the future mobile communications market,and the effective 4G market expansion has a bearing on the future status of major mobile operators in the market.In the market competition,China Unicom faces the problems of fierce market homogeneity competition and the increase of users' bargaining power.This article takes the domestic telecommunication industry marketing environment as the research background,conducts literature research on the current domestic and foreign project management research in marketing,and uses the relevant theories of project management in 4G marketing as the research basis for China Unicom Dezhou District Company.The company's 4G market 2017 expansion project conducted field research.Based on the problems existing in market expansion,the company designed a project management optimization plan for China Unicom Dezhou District Company 4G market 2017 expansion project from the aspects of organization team and operation process.Finally,they applied the designed project management plan in China Unicom Dezhou District Company 4G market 2017 expansion project,through the analysis of the effect,to verify the feasibility of the application of project management in the marketing activity and effectiveness,they also summarize some deficiencies,and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for improvement.
