The Impact Of Producer Service On Manufacturing Efficiency In Guangdong Province

The manufacturing industry is the main body of the national economy and the foundation of the country.In order to achieve the strategic goal of manufacturing a strong country,China proposes the "Made in China 2025" action plan to realize industrialization,enhance the level of innovation,and enter the world’s manufacturing powerhouse camp.This program regards Guangzhou,The Pearl River West Bank City Group and other cities as a model cit.The 13 th Five-Year Plan of Guangdong Province also included the development of advanced manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing in planning.Guangdong Province relies on its superior geographical position to develop its manufacturing through market-changing technology.However,the contribution of manufacturing to economic growth has declined significantly in recent years.From the perspective of the manufacturing industry,although the high-tech industry has shown a growth momentum,the economic benefits still need to be improved.Although the traditional manufacturing industry ranks first,the benefits and efficiency are declining.How to balance the development of the two industries is a difficult problem for future development.The scale of the producer service in Guangdong Province has expanded and its contribution to economic growth has increased.Can producer service promote the development of manufacturing and solve the problem of manufacturing development in Guangdong Province? Based on the theoretical basis of improving the efficiency of manufacturing in the producer service,this paper focuses on Guangdong Province,analyzes the status quo of the producer service and manufacturing in Guangdong Province from the perspective of industrial linkage,and uses the Guangdong Statistical Yearbook and the input and output of Guangdong Province to research.In the empirical analysis part,this paper uses the productivity input rate to conduct research,and more intuitively reflects the impact of producer service input on manufacturing efficiency.The results show that the producer service investment in Guangdong Province has a U-shaped impact on manufacturing efficiency,mainly because the manufacturing industry in Guangdong has insufficient demand for productive services and the level of productive services is not high.The expansion of scale and the increase in capital investment have a negative impact on the efficiency of manufacturing.The degree of nationalization,foreign direct investment,R&D investment and market openness will help improve the efficiency of manufacturing.Therefore,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions from the aspects of establishing the concept of manufacturing service investment,improving the management mechanism,rationally exerting government functions,improving the utilization rate of asset equipment,promoting the supporting investment of the industrial chain,enhancing the awareness of R&D investment,and optimizing the market environment.
