The Impact Of Producer Service On Manufacturing Efficiency In Pearl River Delta

In recent years,Guangdong’s manufacturing industry has been deepening the structural reform of the supply side,promoting the industry to the middle and high end of the value chain,eliminating ineffective supply,and implementing the innovation and development strategy of industrial Internet,promoting the development of Guangdong’s manufacturing industry towards digitalization,networking,intellectualization and greening.The impact of producer services on manufacturing efficiency can not be ignored.This paper studies the impact in the Pearl River Delta region,and then affects the degree of manufacturing reform in Guangdong Province,and finally puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.After summarizing the research of famous scholars in this field at home and abroad,this paper divides the theoretical relationship between producer services and manufacturing industry into six categories: demand subordination theory,supply dominance theory,interaction theory,integration theory,synergistic aggregation theory and manufacturing service theory.The urban differences are obvious: the value added of technology-intensive manufacturing industry is much higher than that of capital-intensive and labor-intensive industries,which is the main force driving the value added of manufacturing industry;the labor productivity of capital-intensive industries is higher than that of labor-intensive industries,which is higher than that of technology-intensive industries;Guangzhou,Zhongshan and Jiangmen industries show a diversified trend;Technological industries such as computer communication industry and instrumentation industry;Foshan’s advantage lies in traditional manufacturing industry;Zhaoqing,Huizhou,Zhuhai’s comparative advantage industries are fewer and have little change.From the perspective of improving manufacturing efficiency of producer services,this paper makes an empirical analysis based on the data of nine cities from2004 to 2016.The analysis is carried out from two dimensions: one is to establish regression analysis models for the whole producer service industry and three major producer service industry subdivisions;the other is to subdivide manufacturing industry into labor-intensive,capital-intensive and technology-intensive categories,respectively,for regression analysis.The empirical results show that producer services in the Pearl River Delta play a positive role in improving manufacturing efficiency,less than fixed assets investment and R&D investment in manufacturing industry;different producer services sectors play different roles in manufacturing industry segments;with the growth of the year,the number of direct consumption of producer services in manufacturing industry shows a decline first and then an increase in U.Font.Finally,based on the empirical results and the actual situation,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: promoting industrial clusters,building high-end manufacturing industrial parks,and accelerating the integration of producer services and manufacturing industries.Promote the deep integration of Internet,AI and big data platform with manufacturing industry and develop ecological management.Reduce the financing costs of manufacturing and productive service industries.We will strengthen subsidies for producer services with high technology content and long service cycles.
