In the past,most of the research on team faultline was based on Demographic Characteristics,and few studies on faultline based on deep variables.Therefore,this study is based on the Categorization-Elaboration Model(CEM).This paper discusses the mechanism of the impact of the faultline based on demographic characteristics and the Entrepreneurial Orientation on the entrepreneurial performance.This paper believes that the faultline caused by the differences in entrepreneurial orientation of entrepreneurial team members has an important impact on entrepreneurial performance,and the impact of the faultline caused by the difference in demographic characteristics on entrepreneurial performance is not significant.Through systematic review and combing of relevant research at home and abroad,and drawing on the related research of the past team faultline and entrepreneurial orientation,based on the social classification-similar attraction paradigm and categorization-elaboration model.this study firstly discusses the faultline based on demographic characteristics.First of all,this study discusses the impact of team faultline based on demographic characteristics and team faultline based on entrepreneurial orientation on entrepreneurial performance,and secondly on the mediating role of team conflicts between these two types of faultline and entrepreneurial performance,and the moderate effect of environmental dynamics between these two types of team faultline,team conflict and entrepreneurial performance.Finally,a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the entrepreneurial team members of the newly-created technology-based enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region.After statistical analysis of the data,the following results were obtained:(1)Team faultline based on entrepreneurial orientation have a significant negative impact on entrepreneurial performance,while team faultline based on demographic characteristics have no significant impact on entrepreneurial performance;(2)Relationship conflict plays a partial intermediary role between the team faultline based on entrepreneurialorientation and entrepreneurial performance,but the intermediary role between the team faultline based on demographic characteristics and entrepreneurial performance is not significant.The intermediary role of task conflict between these two types of team faultlines and entrepreneurial performance is not significant.(3)The regulation of market dynamics in two types of team faultlines,team conflict and entrepreneurial performance is not significant,market dynamics plays an important role in the regulation of team conflict and entrepreneurial performance in the two types of faultlines.Technical dynamics plays a regulatory role in the team faultline based on entrepreneurial orientation,relationship conflict and entrepreneurial performance,but in the team faultline based on demographic characteristics,the adjustment effect between task conflict and entrepreneurial performance is not significant.This paper combines the team faultline based on surface features with the team faultline based on deep features,and discusses the impact mechanism of these two types of team faultlines on entrepreneurial performance,and expands the research on the faultline of entrepreneurial teams.Secondly,it also tries to explore the mediator team between the two.Conflicts and the dynamic nature of regulatory variables provide a meaningful reference for how to organize and manage entrepreneurial teams,how to reduce team conflicts,and improve entrepreneurial performance.
