The insurance intermediary market is an important part of the insurance market,and the insurance professional agency market,as an important part of the insurance intermediary market,is developing rapidly in recent years,therefore it attracts more and more attention of the academic community and the industry.China's insurance professional agency market now is not mature enough to play its due role although it has an important position and value.China's insurance professional agency market is still in the initial stage.The most significant problem is that the unreasonable market structure brings serious disorderly competition.Large numbers of small and medium-sized insurance professional agencies are difficult to achieve profitability and the whole industry is caught in malignant competition of commission and fees.A series of problems brought by the unreasonable market structure have seriously hindered the healthy development of China's insurance professional agency market,which is not good for the market scale expansion of to a moderate level.From 2000 to 2017,the number of insurance professional agencies in China increased from 8 to 1,784,and the number of market subjects continued increasing.At the same time,the market concentration,product differentiation,market access barriers,vertical integration,and diversification of China's insurance professional agency market have showed variable changes.It can be seen that the market structure of has undergone profound changes.So what is the market structure of the insurance professional agency market in China?
