Research On Optimization Of X Company Picking Operation

The rapid development of economy makes social demand increase quickly,and also require logistics response speed faster than before,this make many company need more and more deep lean management,warehouse operation as the important part of the whole supply chain network,how to keep and improve warehouse operation service,and improve efficiency to reduce the labor costs is an important topic.Warehouse's main function is service and supporting,there are many factors affecting warehouse performance,including order picking,inbound and outbound,layout design,operation route planning,etc.How many goods can be loaded in picking truck each time,the order arrangement of picking by batch is of significance for improving the efficiency.At same time,with the continuous improvement of technology,the use of new technology products in the picking operation will also improve efficiency.This article mainly study picking efficiency in warehouse operation,after summarized the research contents of previous scholars,I choose my company warehouse actual cases as the research object,my research focus on pick truck's loading efficiency,optimization of picking method.Through the analysis of the characteristics of three kinds of main products of the X company,formed in a typical products analysis method,established a standard product as a benchmark after transformation,designed a picking truck on this basis is suitable for the picking operation,to research combine order to optimize loading capacity of picking truck and optimize picking method,establishing a linear optimization model and make feasibility solution to the model,the optimization model is based on picking operation to use minimize picking truck quantity as the goal.Raised up three kinds of sorting methods,picking by pallet,picking by picking truck and lose carton picking.At same time,we equip electronic tags on picking racks,this can make operator to find the goods of order more quickly and correctly,this change improved the accuracy and efficiency of the picking operation.Comparing the previous ways of picking operation,improve of picking truck loading capacity and picking method,and also electronic tags application,greatly improved the efficiency of the warehouse picking,there will be reference significance to the whole operation efficiency optimization and cost savings.
