Business Environment And Global Value Chain Participation

China joined globalization in the 1990 s.In the process of globalization,coordinated development among regions and industrial upgrading can not be separated from the mechanism of value chain.The concept of business environment indicators has only been put forward for more than ten years.At present,there is little research on business environment and value chain embeddedness in academic circles,but there is no doubt that business environment chooses enterprise behavior and then value chain.Embedding level has various effects.Firstly,based on the input-output table,this paper calculates the level of embedded value chain in 29 regions of China in 2007,2010,2012 and 2015,and finds that the level of embedded value chain in different regions of China is quite different.The level of embedded value chain in coastal areas and other areas with developed international trade is higher than 0.9,while the vertical specialization index in Inner Mongolia,Ningxia and Tibet is close to 0.Secondly,on the basis of the Report on the Business Environment Index of Enterprises in China's Provinces,this paper makes an analysis of the differences in the business environment of different regions in China.The results show that the business environment of our country is improving year by year in general,while the business environment of cities with developed coastal economy is relatively better than that of the central and Western regions,but the specific conditions of different parts of the index are different.The regional differences in policy,legal system and taxation are small,while the regional differences in financial,human resources,infrastructure and market environment are large.Policy,government,legal system,taxation and infrastructure generally scored higher than finance,human capital and market environment,which also shows that there is much room for improvement in these areas.Finally,through the regression of vertical specialization index and business environment index,we find that the total business environment index has a significant positive correlation with the embedding level of value chain.Especially in coastal areas where international trade is developed,the impact of specific indicators on different years is different,basically in a positive correlation,and the specific impact may be related to the current economic situation.Situation related.The purpose of this study is not only to validate the results of previous studies,but also to characterize the impact mechanism of business environmental value chain.On this basis,combined with the actual situation of various regions in China,the author hopes to put forward specific measures to improve the business environment.
