Large-scale labor flow injects vitality into the development of urban economy,it also profoundly affects the welfare status of rural families in underdeveloped areas.Previous studies mostly used income to measure the welfare level of rural households. Then,it examines the impact of labor mobility on the welfare. However,"People's growing need for a better life" includes not only objective needs for life,it also includes subjective needs such as people's sense of well-being and sense of well-being.In order to adapt to the social background and development requirements of the new era,This paper examines the welfare effects of labor mobility on farmers in underdeveloped areas from multiple dimensions to keep pace with the times.Firstly, the paper identifies the functional activities that represent the welfare of farmers by factor analysis, and construct index evaluation system, based on the sample of farmers in underdeveloped areas of the Chinese Family Panel Studies(CFPS)project in 2014 and 2016,grouping according to family type and whether work outside, investigating and analysing the welfare status of rural families in underdeveloped areas of China. Then,This paper discusses the economic and non-economic welfare of peasant households, from two levels of micro-individual and Macro-economy.The theoretical analysis framework of welfare effects of migrant rural households is constructed from seven dimensions: income, children, the elderly, family relations, leisure activities, social security and subjective psychological conditions,Clarifying the Mechanism of Labor Flow Affecting Family Welfare in Rural Areas. Finally, the paper establishes a panel data fixed effect model for empirical analysis to examine the impact of labor mobility on the welfare of rural households in all dimensions. It is worth noting that there are different impacts on the welfare of peasant households between the provincial migrant workers and the provincial migrant workers.Provincial migrant workers have a positive impact on farmers' comprehensive welfare, economic situation and social security, but have a negative impact on other dimensions of welfare level. The study finds that labor mobility can significantly improve the comprehensive welfare of farmers.Whether using all types of household samples or children(elderly)household samples, migrant workers have a significant role in promoting the comprehensive welfare level of farmers in underdeveloped areas. At the same time, the impact of labor mobility on farmers' welfare in different dimensions is different. The welfare dimensions of positive effects of labor mobility are family economic conditions, social security, subjective psychological conditions, child care and elderly support. The welfare dimensions of negative effects of labor mobility are family relations and leisure activities.Generally speaking, the welfare level of the households working in the province is higher than that of the households working outside the province. That is to say,the improvement of the welfare of the households working in the province is greater than that of the households working in the province.Based on the research conclusion, this paper argues that we should accelerate the process of urbanization of floating population, avoid the current "amphibious" status of farmers, and achieve complete urbanization. We should improve the rural social security system, promote the socialization of rural old-age care, and improve the welfare of the left-behind elderly through the improvement of the system.Enriching the cultural and recreational life of rural residents, improving the quality of life of farmers, and then improving the life satisfaction of rural residents.Vigorously develop rural children's welfare undertakings and diversify the social welfare system for left-behind children,so as to improve the welfare level of rural children.
