Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and so has China’s economic development.The speed of development,the structure of development and the driving force of development need to be changed.China’s economy has shifted from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development..With the continuous development of economy,consumption plays an increasingly important role in promoting economic growth and plays an increasingly important role in national economic development.It has become the main driving force for current and future economic growth.Numerous studies have shown that the consumption of Chinese farmers has become the third largest growth point of China’s economy.With a large rural population base,the consumption of rural residents has become an extremely important growth point of China’s economy.It has become an important direction and goal of macro-control to expand the consumption demand of farmers and improve the consumption level and quality of farmers.At the same time,with the popularity of the Internet and the rapid development of e-commerce and other new economic forms,in order to meet the needs of a variety of payment environment,a new payment method different from the traditional payment method--Internet payment has been rapidly generated.And with the potential of rapid thunder into every aspect of daily life.In the Internet payment service is accepted by more and more people,all market players break the space limit in the payment link and promote closer ties.The way businesses operate and the way they trade have changed dramatically compared to traditional economies.Under the background of rapid development of Internet and e-commerce,the consumption environment and consumption mode in rural areas have been changing with each passing day.The purchase mode that used to be limited to space has been liberated.The market vacancy of shopping on rural network attracted the market grab of numerous e-commerce giants.In addition,the countrys strong support and investment in supporting infrastructure construction related to Internet payment in rural areas have further promoted the innovation of consumption environment and consumption mode in mral areas.Internet payment service is also accompanied by rural e-commerce and the general trend of state policy support ushered in a good prospect for development.In this context,how and to what extent Internet payment has affected farmers’ consumption and how to make better use of this new form of Internet payment to promote the expansion of mral residents’ consumption has become an important issue at present.This paper is of theoretical and practical significance to study the impact of Internet payment on the total consumption and consumption structure of peasant households.Data used in this study are from the 2015 data of China family finance survey and research center(CHFS)of southwest university of finance and economics,which is a good representative micro data of family finance in China.The article arrangement of this paper is as follows.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and significance of this paper,which provides the research foundation for this paper.The second chapter mainly explains the research status quo at home and abroad related to the research topic and sorts out the research context.For the study of the development of a good foundation.Institute of the third chapter focuses on the use of relevant theoretical basis,and the mechanism of action of Internet payment affect rural residents’ consumption behavior,the fourth chapter mainly described the current situation of the development of Internet payment,as well as Internet infrastructure construction in rural areas and rural residents in the vigorous development of e-commerce under the environment of consumption behavior,the fifth chapter is the main use of empirical methods to analyze the Internet influence on peasant household consumption,through the establishment of appropriate econometric model to carry on the empirical analysis,and analyze the empirical results,the relevant conclusions.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this paper and the policy recommendations based on the conclusion.Firstly,this paper briefly analyzes the development of Internet payment and the consumption status of rural residents to find out the existing problems and characteristics.Then from the mechanism of action analysis of how Internet payment is affecting the consumption behavior of rural residents.In addition,through empirical analysis,the model was set up to analyze the specific impact of Internet payment on the total consumption and consumption structure of rural areas using stata software,and relevant research conclusions were drawn.Finally,according to the theoretical and empirical analysis of the final research conclusions,put forward recommendations to promote the consumption of rural residents.Through research,this paper mainly comes to the following conclusions.1.Internet payment services represented by rural online banking and mobile banking have an important role in promoting the overall consumption of rural households.2.The impact of Internet payment on the proportion of surviving consumption and the proportion of consumption-type consumption of mral households in rural areas is greatly different due to the difference in the forms of expression of Internet payments.3.The educational level of the heads of households of farmers will affect consumption to a certain extent,and the overall cultural quality of rural residents needs to be improved.4.Raising the income of farmers’ families is the fundamental way to promote rural consumption.At the same time,based on the research conclusions,this paper puts forward four suggestions.1.Accelerate the construction of rural network information infrastructure.2.Increase the propaganda of financial knowledge related to Internet payment in rural areas.3.Increase investment in educational resources in rural areas.4.Expand the income sources of rural residents and promote the diversification of rural residents’ income sources.The innovation of this paper lies in the following aspects:1.Data innovation.The data cover 29 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government)except Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,xinjiang and Tibet.The assets,liabilities,income and expenditure and demographic information of households in the 2015 cross section were collected.The figures are the latest on household finance and are nationally representative.2.Innovation of research topics.With the rapid development of the Internet,the influence of the Internet has been deeply penetrated into all aspects.The research of this article has the effect of introducing jade with brick.
