As technology convergence accelerates and physical,physiological,and digital world barriers are gradually eliminated,market characteristics,business patterns,and users' requirement will be more uncertain and complex.It's well known that technological iterations,changes in thinking and the emergence of new business models are all closely related to ?innovation?.So that it is innovation that empowers organizations and employees to make organizations capable of creating for the future.Under the background of the need for organizations to release individual value and gather intelligence for innovation,proactive innovation of employees has become a key source of continuous innovation power for enterprises.For managers,how to drive employees to actively innovate has become an urgent matter for the organization to answer.On this basis,it is combined with existing literature analysis and speculated that supervisor developmental feedback may have a positive impact on employees' proactive innovation behavior.However,the mechanism between supervisor developmental feedback and proactive innovation behavior needs to be clarified.Based on social cognition theory and face theory,this study discussed the influence mechanism of supervisor developmental feedback on employees' proactive innovation behavior,and the mediation role of employee role breadth self-efficacy and competence face stress.At the same time,it also explored that leader creativity expectations moderated the first phase of the two intermediate paths.Through literature combing and theoretical derivation,11 research hypotheses were proposed,and the hypotheses were tested with a sample included with 302 employees.By using factor analysis,hierarchical regression analysis,and moderated mediation model analysis,this study found the main conclusions as follows.First of all,supervisor developmental feedback is a powerful factor of driving employees' proactive innovation behavior.Secondly,as a broad ?capacity confidence? and positive ?capacity pressure?,role breadth self-efficacy and competence face stress can be seen as a bridge with which links supervisor developmental feedback and employees' proactive innovation behavior.Thirdly,leader creativity expectations positively moderate the relationship between supervisor developmental feedback and role breadth self-efficacy with competence face stress.Moreover,compared with low leader creativity expectations,with high leader creativity expectations,supervisor developmental feedback enhances more role breadth self efficacy and competence face stress,and then promotes employees' proactive innovation behavior.Focusing on the influencing factors that drive proactive innovation behavior,and then capturing the more complex psychological and cognitive processes of the influence relationship,This study is to provide a novel and powerful explanation of the mechanisms of how supervisor developmental feedback affects proactive innovation behavior.
