Research On Inventory Management Optimization Of Fus Company

Along with the acceleration of the development of petrochemical,petroleum and power industries,and the growth of engineering construction demand,the order volume of FUS as pump manufacturer has increased rapidly for the past several years,however,the problem of inventory management has become increasingly prominent,on the one hand inventory backlog,and on the other hand could not deliver orders in time due to material shortage.Therefore,it is significant to use modern supply chain management knowledge to optimize inventory management.Good inventory management could speed up inventory turnover,reduce the occupation of inventory funds,improve customer satisfaction and enhance enterprise competitiveness.This thesis analyzes the present situation and existing problems of inventory management in FUS Company,designs the optimization solution of inventory management and evaluates the implementation effect.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the operation management and inventory management process of FUS Company,redesigns and optimizes the inventory management process of FUS Company by using the theory and method of process management,and establishes the sales inventory operations planning process as the coordination mechanism of demand and supply.Secondly,through the analysis of the status of internal material management in FUS Company,the thesis proposes to optimize the process of receipt and work order dispatch,and expand the inactive stock consumption channel to improve the efficiency of internal material management in FUS Company.Thirdly,through the study of supply chain inventory management model,this thesis introduces vendor managed inventory to optimize the FUS company inventory management model.The inventory management is optimized from three aspects: process,internal material management efficiency and operation mode.The coordination and balance between demand and supply can be improved,the on time delivery rate can be improved,the inventory turnover can be accelerated,and the operation capital investment can be reduced,the market competitiveness can be enhanced and the effective support can be provided.The improvements can result in rapid and stable development of enterprises.The research results can provide useful reference for the pump industry and other similar industries.
