Research On The Relationship Between Industrial Structure Change And Economic Growth In Guizhou Province

Structuralism holds that there is a link between industrial structure and economic growth.But for the optimization of industrial structure,structuralism does not differentiate the regional factor endowment structure,and advocates the transformation from primary industry to secondary and tertiary industries.It considers this route a universal mode of industrial structure adjustment.From the perspective of factor endowment theory and comparative advantage theory,this paper analyses the relationship between industrial structure adjustment and economic growth in Guizhou.The basic path is that factor endowment structure determines comparative advantage,thus decides industrial structure and ultimately affects regional economic development.In this paper,the relationship between the evolution history of Guizhou's industrial structure and economic growth is taken as the main research object.This reach mainly includes: firstly,by literature research method,sort the domestic and foreign literature studied on industrial structure to find theoretical foundation of this paper.Secondly,based on the theory of factor endowment and comparative advantage,this paper analyzes the comparative advantage industries in Guizhou.Thirdly,through sorting out and studying the evolution history of Guizhou's industrial structure,combining the factor endowment structure and comparative advantage of Guizhou,analysis on the Industrial Structure of Guizhou Province.Then,empirical research method is used to study the impact of industrial structure on economic growth in Guizhou,and the impact of the internal subdivision of industrial structure on the output of the second industry.Finally,some feasible suggestions are put forward for Guizhou's industrial restructuring.Through research,the author considers that Guizhou's comparative advantage industry is determined by factor endowment structure,the comparative advantage industries in Guizhou mainly include mountain characteristic agriculture(such as tea,fruit planting,Chinese herbal medicine planting,etc.),mining and mineral processing,light industry which require lower labor quality,tourism,big data industry and other emerging technology industries.There is a close relationship between economic growth and industrial structure in Guizhou.Especially the comparative advantage industries have a great contribution to economic growth.Therefore,the transformation and upgrading of Guizhou's industries should follow this principle: stabilizing the existing pillar industries which play a supporting role in the economy,then guiding the development of comparative advantage industries and promoting the development of high-tech industries.In this process,the government should play a role in discriminating and guiding the industry.
