As the world’s first P2 P online lending platform,Zopa was established in 2005.Nowadays,the P2 P network loan is promptly developed in china,which has been developing for almost a decade.The credit risk of P2 P network lending has also been highly appreciated with the development of Internet technology.As a new trade,P2 P online lending industry contains the development and problems.Especially in the case that the credit information system is imperfect and undemanding,the credit risk of the P2 P online lending industry continues to explode.Meanwhile,because of poor operation or malicious financing a large number of P2 P online lending platforms take place incidents such as shutdown,running,bankruptcy and so on.It also raises doubts about the development of the entire online lending industry,all of these have aroused widespread concern and heated discussion.Therefore,it’s very necessary and meaningful to evaluate the P2 P network lending credit risk.Based on this,this thesis considers the credit risk of P2 P network lending from two aspects.Firstly,we collect relevant data,analysis on the major factors of borrower’s overdue behavior,construct the probability model of borrower’s overdue rate,and make an empirical analysis of the credit risk of borrowers.Secondly,we take P2 P platform as the research object,research the index factors of platform disclosure,construct the rating model,and evaluate the credit risk of network loan platform.This thesis studies the credit risk of P2 P network lending.Its results can provide information reference for investors,and provide the guiding role for the development of the regulatory authorities and the platform itself.Research shows that this thesis’ s model can play a decision-making role in the monitoring of credit risk issues,and positively promote the healthy development of the whole industry.
