A Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Development Of Small Towns In Xining City

Qinghai Province is a large resource province in Northwest China,Xining is the capital city of Qinghai Province.As the only big city in Qinghai Province,Xining's urbanization level plays a decisive leading role in the economic and social development of Qinghai Province,and also directly affects the effectiveness of the strategy of "Western Development" and the practice of the strategy of "rural revitalization" in Qinghai Province.Therefore,under the background of China's economic and social transformation,we should earnestly implement the requirement of "taking urban agglomeration as the main body to construct a coordinated urban structure of large,medium and small cities and towns,and accelerate the urbanization of agricultural transfer population",and study the problems existing in the development of small towns in Xining city,put forward the Countermeasures of construction,and strive to build them in accordance with the actual development situation of the region.Setting up and developing small towns in Xining can not only accelerate the process of new urbanization in Qinghai Province,improve the urbanization level of Xining,but also enhance the core competitiveness of the region by promoting regional urbanization,and enhance the leading role of Xining in the economic and social development of Qinghai Province.Firstly,on the basis of defining the relevant concepts of small towns,taking the theory of regional development as the foundation,this paper combs the development status of small towns in Xining from the aspects of resource endowment,location characteristics,population scale,land scale and economic development,and uses SOWT analysis method to analyze the advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and selection of the development of small towns in Xining.The war is analyzed.It is believed that the development of small towns in Xining is rich in natural resources and cultural resources,as well as close to the central city,which is easy to take on the advantages of technology,capital,talent and industry of the central city.At the same time,the construction of small towns with special features and the planning of small towns in Xining City proposed by the state provide important developmentopportunities for the development of small towns in this area.However,the development of small towns in Xining also has obvious disadvantages such as small population size,the development of central cities squeezing the development space of small towns,which brings challenges to the development of small towns in Xining.Secondly,combined with the above research content,through qualitative analysis,induction and summary,this paper analyzed the problems existing in the development of small towns in Xining,and pointed out that the development of small towns in this area is facing the problems of serious homogenization,poor industrial development and lagging infrastructure.Finally,in view of the actual problems in the development of small towns in Xining,the paper puts forward some suggestions and prospects for further promoting the development of small towns in Xining,such as highlighting characteristics,overcoming the tendency of homogeneous development,adjusting industrial structure,upgrading industrial levels,expanding geographic development space,promoting industrial clusters,optimizing infrastructure construction,strengthening government public services,improving administrative governance efficiency and so on.
