Research On The Development Of Characteristic Lavender Industry In Yili,Xinjiang

In recent years,with the country's requirements for the western region to "fully exploit the advantages of resources,vigorously develop characteristic industries,enhance self-development capabilities" and the development of the Silk Road economic belt,as a gateway to Central and Western Asia,an important channel for the Xinjiang North Line of the Silk Road,a cultural exchange place,a commercial transfer station,etc.Xinjiang Yili has become an important international intermodal hub connecting China,Central Asia,Russia,and Europe.And Yili play a more and more important role as a window of Xinjiang and even the whole country to the west.The lavender industry has become the golden key of Yili to the world's aroma.Yili River Valley is one of the world's three major lavender producing areas.The innate competitive advantage and the high quality varieties that are merely to be "copycat" have made the Yili lavender industry ushered in development.But due to the limitations of its own development,which restricts the realization of more ideal regional economic benefits,the Yili lavender industry has not been fully developed.This paper focused on the development history of the Yili lavender industry,and understood the three development pathways that emerged during the development process.Through agricultural development theory,characteristic industry development theory,industrial organization theory,industrial chain theory,industrial cycle theory,policy principles and so on,their respective development status and limitations were comprehensive analysised.Then the corresponding questionnaires,field research and interviews were done to determine the reliability of these analysis results.The business entity cooperation was its optimal development pathway as the results said.Finally,feasible suggestions were made for the development of this path so as to promote the development of Xinjiang's lavender industry,improve industrial efficiency,increase farmers' income,promote rural economic prosperity and stability,and achieve the goal of "stabilizing Xinjiang and enriching the people".
