Research On The Evolution Of China-ASEAN Goods Trade Network Structure

China and ASEAN jointly signed the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation between China and ASEAN in 2002.China-ASEAN Free Trade Area Becomes the Largest Free Trade Area among Developing Countries.In the past ten years since the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area,bilateral trade in goods between member countries has developed rapidly,especially between China and ASEAN countries.However,in the process of continuous development of trade economy in goods,China-ASEAN trade still faces many problems,such as the phenomenon of multilateral unequal trade in goods among member countries.This paper will take the structure of China-ASEAN goods trade network as the research object,and use the social network analysis method to study the evolution of its trade network.By analyzing the overall network density,three centrality characteristics and block model of the total goods trade network and the goods trade network classified by BEC in each year,we can see that the trade links China-ASEAN countries tend to be closer and closer,but the overall network density is low.China and Singapore are the core nodes of the trade network,which have strong trade capacity and little dependence in the network,and are closely related to the trade of many countries.China has a strong trade control capability in the trade network,which can be fully utilized to make the trade network develop towards multilateral trade equalization.The trade relations China-ASEAN countries are polarized,and the relations between countries with close trade links are getting closer and closer.However,it is difficult for countries with isolated trade to establish trade links with them and change their current situation.In this regard,this paper proposes that China-ASEAN countries adjust their industrial structure and upgrade their trade in goods,strengthen political mutual trust China ASEAN countries and deepen complementary trade China-ASEAN countries to optimize the China-ASEAN trade network in goods.
