Analysis Of The Impact Of RMB Internationalization On Chinese Foreign Trade Enterprises

Under the background of economic globalization,the change of monetary relations has a huge effect on the countries in the process of globalization.As an important participant and pusher of economic globalization,our country started the process of RMB internationalization in 2009 and RMB joined SDR(special drawing rights)on October 1,2016,accelerating RMB internationalization.With the advance of RMB internationalization,the international settlement currency function of RMB has a further development,the reserve currency function gradually appears,and the valuation currency function also has a primary development.The trade dependence of our country is high,and export has been the power source of China’s economy for many years.The change of international monetary relations greatly influences the export business of our country.As the main force of export business development,the foreign trade enterprises in our country are the first to be directly affected by RMB internationalization.The international currency function development of RMB has a positive and negative impact on the development of foreign export enterprises in our country.The positive impact is mainly reflected in:reduce the exchange rate risk and currency conversion cost,widen the financing channels of enterprises and decrease trade conflicts;the negative impact is mainly reflected in:increase the pressure of production and technological innovation of enterprises,especially strongly influencing the small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises,increase the influence of foreign trade enterprises suffered from floating capital risk and operating exchange rate risk and affect the export trade scale of foreign trade enterprises in our country for a long time.Taking Z export enterprise for example,this thesis systematically analyzes the countermeasures of foreign export enterprises under the background of RMB internationalization and puts forward that in the continuous implementation of RMB internationalization,foreign trade enterprises should seize opportunities and face challenges to have an active response and guarantee a healthy and rapid development of enterprises.Foreign trade enterprises are supposed to accelerate the construction of risk system,establish institutions to cope with exchange rate risk,introduce and train risk-response talents;adopt diversified financial methods to avoid exchange rate risks;increase the learning of high and new technology,introduce foreign advanced technology and strengthen independent innovation to promote the upgrading and transformation of product structure.
