In recent ten years,with the rapid development of urbanization in China,the number of motor vehicles has been increasing rapidly and continuously.However,at the same time,the renewal and construction of urban traffic land is relatively lagging behind.The contradiction between supply and demand of traffic land leads to serious traffic congestion.At present,the spatial imbalance of urban traffic land has become one of the important factors affecting the healthy development of cities.Comprehensive study and analysis of urban traffic congestion is the necessary prerequisite to alleviate the imbalance of urban traffic land spatial matching.In terms of research methods,with the gradual development of large data technology,efficient and real-time API hot data can help researchers grasp the overall operation status of traffic land in the region as soon as possible,and quickly identify road congestion.Therefore,using big data technology to analyze traffic congestion incidents in urban road network has gradually become one of the important technical means of urban traffic land use research.As the central city of Northeast China,the contradiction between rapid urbanization and scarce land resources is more tense,and then more serious urban traffic congestion has gradually evolved.Based on this,this paper takes Shenyang downtown as the research area,using the urban road congestion index and real-time road condition information released by the Gaode Map API platform,through comparative analysis and ArcGIS 10.2 platform point processing,interpolation analysis,hot spot analysis and other methods,carries out quantitative research on the traffic congestion status and the city-crossing capacity level in the study area,and objectively analyzes the traffic in the study area.The spatio-temporal distribution characteristics of congestion events and corresponding congestion improvement measures are proposed to provide reference for urban planning and traffic management in Shenyang.First,the results of the study on the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of traffic congestion show that traffic congestion is obviously periodic in time.The characteristics of low congestion level during weekends and high congestion level during weekdays.The unbalance of traffic supply and demand in weekdays is distributed in plane shape,while in weekends it is distributed in scattered spots.Secondly,the measurement and research results of the city crossing capacity show that the capacity of the east-west main road in Shenyang is higher than that of the north-south main road.As an elevated expressway,the east-west expressway has traffic conditions far beyond those of other main roads,and its ability to go through the city is mainly affected by the layout of road network and the direction of population and economic aggregation.Third,the empirical analysis of existing traffic congestion mitigation measures shows that,by building branch roads,developing underground traffic land to reduce the intersection in order to improve the network structure and the implementation of one-way traffic to form a traffic organization ‘micro cycle' governance measures,can effectively alleviate the situation of insufficient traffic supply and demand in the region.Finally,according to the current situation of the imbalance between the supply and demand of traffic land in the central urban area of Shenyang,it is proposed that the spatial optimization of urban traffic land should be targeted at three aspects in the next stage,namely,the integration and optimization of traffic land resources,the coordinated development of intersection and underground space,and the reasonable traffic and land use mode.Specific measures include,to strengthen the construction of road infrastructure renewal and to improve the urban road network density,within a reasonable dredge small areas of old city traffic node ‘circulation',improve the efficiency of traffic land use,enhance the development of old city underground space,reduce the crossing the road physical bottleneck of traffic imbalance between supply and demand,the influence of the reasonable layout of urban functional areas,mainly from the perspective of the new district,land for traffic as the main factors and other types of rational allocation of construction land,gradually break the concentric mode of city development,specific measures such as establishing deputy city center.
