Under the background of economic globalization,the logistics industry has played an important role in accelerating product circulation and integrating regional economy into the global industrial chain.As an essential contributor to the economy,the logistics industry also has drawn extensive attention and support.Exploring Current situation and problems of Logistics Industry in Inner Mongolia and the extent of Inner Mongolia logistics industry's role in economic growth is of great necessity for further exerting the important role of the logistics industry in economic growth and supporting the development.On the basis of summarizing domestic and foreign literatures,this paper elaborate logistics industry theory,regional economic growth theory and interaction mechanism.The paper mainly studies the development of logistics industry in Inner Mongolia from for aspects:output Value and fixed assets input,infrastructure,freight volume and development characteristics of Logistics Industry.Then the author does in analysis of the relationship logistics industry and economy in Inner Mongolia,through the screening of indicators to establish a relevant model,uses the co-integration model,error correction model and Granger causal analysis to optimize and test the model.Finally,this paper proposes countermeasures to promote the logistics industry in Inner Mongolia,including reinforcing infrastructure constructions and strengthening multi-faceted policy support such as land use,strengthening support and guidance for third-party logistics enterprises.Meanwhile,steps such as strengthening information services and government functions to focus on the logistics industry,and establishing specialized agencies to promote and serve the modern logistics industry are encouraged as well.
