| By integrating justice theory and relational governance,this research extends the existing research on PPP projects by exploring the effects of distributive,procedural and interactional justice on relational behaviors and performance from private sectors'perspective.Through a thorough literature review,a conceptual model including justice perception,relational behaviors and performance is developed,and the moderating role of contract specificity also has been considered.To test the model,the structured questionnaire survey was developed by using a series of exploratory interviews with two practitioners and one researcher,which were specifically designed to help contextualize and formalize items for measuring the concepts of inter-organizational justice,relational behaviors and performance and contract specificity.With the help of 254 valid data samples from online structured questionnaire survey,SEM is used to examine the model proposed.The research finds:(1)when interactional justice is higher,private sectors will perceive higher distributive justice and procedural justice,and private sector's interactional justice,distributive justice and procedural justice can affect the relational behaviors,including joint problem solving,flexibility and information exchange;However,interactional justice cannot influence their joint problem solving and distributive justice play less role in flexibility.(2)the effect of joint problem solving,flexibility and information exchange is significantly positive in relation to relationship performance of PPP projects,and their influence is different and degree from big to small is information exchange,flexibility,and joint problem solving.(3)contract specificity moderated the relationship between distributive justice and joint problem solving,between procedural justice and joint problem solving,between procedural justice and flexibility.(4)justice perceptions has a direct effect on relationship performance. |
