With the development of the times and the renewal of talents,mastering the characteristics of work values of different generations plays an important role in the maintenance and incentive of human resources in today's enterprises.Work values,as an intrinsic factor of individual stability,have a great impact on job performance and job stability.Previous studies have shown that there are significant intergenerational differences in work values.The post-70s generation pays more attention to personal development opportunities and does not require a high working environment.The post-80s generation pays more attention to their personal abilities and growth,preferring a relaxed working environment.The post-90s generation pays attention to the coincidence of work and hobbies,and pursues a safe and comfortable working environment.Work values have a negative impact on turnover intention.The higher the coefficient of each dimension of work values,the lower the turnover intention.And vice versa.Because of the imprisonment of traditional management concepts,state-owned enterprises are slow to respond to fierce competition from outside.And the change within the organization will be a great challenge."Good Job" and "Good Enterprise" in the eyes of the old Generation have no longer a strong attraction for the new generation of employees.How to improve the management system of state-owned enterprises from the traditional way to the development direction suitable for the new era,and how to retain and motivate different generations of talents are the problems that must be considered by the management of enterprises.Through the relevant theories and research literatures on work values and turnover intention at home and abroad,taking CS Securities Settlement Company as an actual case,this paper analyses the general characteristics of the new generation employees' work values and the differences of work values between the new generation and the old generation employees with the methods of documentation,interview,questionnaire and statistical analysis.On this basis,it analyses the impact of various dimensions of employees' work values on turnover intention.Combining with the actual background of the enterprise and from the perspective of work values,this paper summarizes the relevant measures and suggestions for CS Securities Settlement Company to reduce the turnover rate of the new generation of employees.It is concluded that the new generation's work values have a more negative effect on turnover tendency than the old generation's.Because the new generation grows up in a different environment,its work values are unstable and diversified,which is different from the core value system of the society.Therefore,its matching degree with the organizational values is lower than the old generation,which leads to a greater impact on turnover than the old generation whose value system is more clear.The conclusion of this study provides ideas and management inspiration for managers to diversify the management of staff,meet the different needs of employees and retain outstanding talents,which is of great practical significance.
