The convenience of transportation and the coverage of information network provide the basis and power for the communication between cities. The network connection between cities is represented by various means, such as commodity, personnel, capital, information and so on.The time distance between cities is greatly shortened, and the regional contact territory is also undergoing profound changes.Cities are the economic, political and cultural centers of a region. With their rapid development, cities have more and more close ties with neighboring or similar cities.Various cities with different scales and functions form a regional network model with a certain spatial organization structure.Taking cities of prefecture level and above as the research object, this paper chooses railway shift data between two cities and user attention data of Baidu Index to represent traffic flow and information flow between cities.Based on traffic flow and information flow, the basic characteristics and spatial organization model of urban network in China are expressed by using spatial network analysis method, centrality analysis method, structural hole analysis method,core-edge analysis method and community network discovery algorithm.Considering that the basic characteristics and organizational patterns of cities are different from each other under the dual perspective, the hierarchical characteristics, network node characteristics and local characteristics of urban network under the dual perspective are discussed. The main conclusions are as follows:In China's urban network based on traffic flow, the axle-band characteristics of urban linkages are obvious, mainly showing the characteristics of "four-vertical-and-four-horizontal" network pattern.Higher grade of urban node mainly distributes in the central position of transportation hub and presents obvious phenomenon of "rich-club".In China's urban network based on information flow, the relationship between cities is more close and complex, which mainly presents the characteristics of "diamond" network pattern among Beijing,Xi'an,Chengdu,Chongqing,Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Nanjing,Suzhou,Hangzhou,Shanghai,Zhengzhou and Wuhan. The higher urban node grades are mainly distributed in the first-tier cities and new first-tier cities in the country, and also show a strong phenomenon of "rich-club".Among the cities within the regional organization based on traffic flow, the network community structure based on the main traffic trunks is mainly presented. There is a large gap between the five types of network development patterns, and the differences between the cities within different types of network development patterns are relatively small. The number of core network development model communities is similar to that of non-core network development model communities. The community structure based on information flow has a strong recognition effect on provincial administrative divisions, and mainly presents a stable relationship between the cities within the provincial administrative divisions.Among the five types of network development model, the number of single-core and non-core network development model communities is relatively large, while the number of dual-core and multi-core network development model communities is relatively small.
