Research On The Influence Of Chinese Banks' Overseas Distribution On Enterprises' Foreign Direct Investment

China began to develop foreign direct investment,cooperation has been increasing with other countries.Corporate foreign direct investment is at the forefront of the world and faces more opportunities and challenges.At the same time,companies often need to help the banking industry to obtain sufficient overseas information,financing support and risk management.Under the support of the economic environment and China's policies,the overseas layout of Chinese banks has been expanding,and its' rich business models have made bank-related businesses and forms become better and better,satisfying the diversified needs and services of enterprises'foreign direct investment.On this basis,it is the focus of this paper to explore how the overseas layout of Chinese banks will have an impact on foreign direct investment and the impact mechanism.This paper begins with the Chinese banks'influence on foreign direct investment,expounding relevant definitions and theoretical literature.Then,a detailed analysis of the current situation is carried out.It can be seen that the direct foreign investment of Chinese enterprises is excessively concentrated in the Asian region,but it is lacking in some continents.The overseas branches of Chinese banks are on the rise,and the rich models also meet the needs of enterprises for foreign direct investment.Based on theoretical analysis and current situation description,this paper believes that the overseas layout of banks affects foreign direct investment by providing information services,financing support and risk management.Then,this article uses the panel data of fifteen years.Firstly,through the overall regression of the data,it is concluded that the overseas layout of Chinese banks is positively related to the foreign direct investment of enterprises.On this basis,this paper divides the overseas layout mode of Chinese banks into representative offices,branches,subsidiaries and affiliated banks,and explores the relationship between the overseas layout of Chinese banks and the foreign direct investment of enterprises.The results show that branches,subsidiaries and affiliated banks have a significant impact on corporate foreign direct investment Then,based on the heterogeneity of enterprises and high-and low-income countries,the sample of this paper is classified.The results show that the overseas layout of Chinese banks has positive effects on foreign direct investment of central enterprises,eastern,middle and western enterprises;in high-income countries,Chinese capital The overseas layout of the bank is conducive to foreign direct investment.Finally,the empirical research of this paper is carried out by using the robustness test method of the balance panel and instrumental variable regression,which proves the reliability of the research.Finally,based on theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper believes that the overseas layout of Chinese banks has an impact on corporate foreign direct investment in many aspects.Chinese banks should accelerate the pace of overseas distribution,enrich financial products and businesses,and select models suitable for their own development and the path;enterprises should enhance the industrial structure and develop diversification;on this basis,Chinese banks should be encouraged to provide foreign direct investment.Chinese banks can provide mutual help while banks and enterprises achieve common development.
