It coincides with the 40 th anniversary of reform and opening up,China's auto insurance market is expanding day by day,but the problem of the asymmetric rate of commercial auto insurance and its risk level is highlighted.In this market environment,the pilot of a new round of auto insurance rate reform was officially launched on June 1,2015,and officially promoted nationwide on July 1,2016.In September 2018,the independent pricing power of auto insurance in Guangxi,Qinghai and Shaanxi provinces was completely liberalized.It is a preview of the full liberalization of independent pricing.In the new market environment,the property management company's management and innovation development capabilities are facing new challenges and opportunities.Companies must pay more attention to their own operational efficiency.The acceleration of the market-oriented reform process of China's auto insurance rates has made market increasingly fierce.On the basis of combing the literature on related issues at home and abroad,this paper focuses on the impact of rate reform on the operational efficiency of China's property insurance companies through the development of marketization of auto insurance rates and economic theory.The paper selected the top 5 of the domestic auto insurance business income from 2012 to 2017 as the research sample.The DEA model is used to calculate the relative efficiency,and the evaluation results are evaluated from multiple angles,which provides a valuable reference for the property and casualty companies to better cope with the opportunities and challenges brought by the new situation.The main innovations of this paper are as follows: Firstly,from the perspective of the latest reform frontier of the auto insurance market,the paper analyzes the operating efficiency of property insurance companies under the background of rate and marketization.Secondly,when selecting the empirical research object,the paper takes the actual development results of the auto insurance business as the guide,and flexibly uses the DEA model to accurately measure the relative efficiency of each property insurance company.
