Evaluation Of Low Carbon Competitiveness In Shanxi Province

The impact of global warming on human activities and the environment has prompted people to rethink the current economic model.As a result,"low carbon" has attracted wide attention.As a resource-rich province,Shanxi Province has a single economic structure and insufficient sustainable development ability.How to give full play to its advantages,promote its low-carbon competitiveness as soon as possible and build a low-carban city is particularly important.The contents of this paper are as follows:(1)To study the literature on low-carbon economy and low-carbon competitiveness at home and abroad,and briefly introduce the sustainable development theory,decoupling development theory and economics theory.(2)Research and analysis of six aspects of low-carbon competitivense in Shanxi Province,in recent years,the rapid economic development,serious energy consumption,carbon emissions are also increasing year by year,followed by severe environmental conditions,to achieve the urbanization transformation of Shanxi Province as soon as possible,early into a low-carbon society.(3)Referring to previous scholars’ research,this paper chooses the data of 2007-2016 to study,and establishes the index system.(4)Entropy method is selected when empowering indicators;grey ideal correlation model is used to evaluate the low-carbon competitiveness of Shanxi Province.The results of this study that:(1)The grey ideal correlation model is used to rank six systems: energy,environment,industry,science and technology,society,economy and carbon emission system.(2)Shanxi’s low-carbon competitiveness is generally weak,but with the passage of time,it has improved.It can be seen that the low-carbon transformation in Shanxi Province has been more successful in recent years.Finally,according to the evaluation results and the analysics of the reasons,the paper puts forward the countermeasures to enhance the low-carbon competitiveness of Shanxi Pronvince from six aspects:energy,carbon emissions,economy,environment,society,industry,science and technology system.
