Research On The Coupling Of Economic Growth Quality And Quantity In Gansu Province

“China's economy has shifted from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development”,the party's 19 th national congress report said,adding that “we must put quality first and efficiency first”.In this context,the issue of high-quality economic development has aroused people's extensive attention,and improving the quality of economic growth while increasing the quantity of economic growth has become the main task in China's economic development.The coupling of quality and quantity of economic growth can provide reference and basis for government decisionmaking,and it is the premise and foundation that assures economic growth to rise steadily.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the coupling of quality and quantity of economic growth.By constructing the index system of quality and quantity of economic growth,this paper uses statistical data to realize the evaluation and coupling research of quality and quantity of economic growth.In evaluating the quality and quantity of economic growth.First of all,on the basis of clarifying the connotation of quality and quantity of economic growth,and the construction of economic growth quality and quantity evaluation index system is analyzed theoretically.This paper holds that the change of economic growth quality should be evaluated from six aspects: growth efficiency,economic structure,economic stability,people's living standard,ecological environment and national economic quality.In terms of the quantity of economic growth,including total output,per capita output and output growth rate.By using entropy value method,the index weight is obtained,and multiple indexes in the index system are synthesized into evaluation indexes based on statistical data,to evaluate the quality and quantity of economic growth in Gansu province from 1997 to 2016.Then,the coupling model is used to analyze the degree of coordination,development and coupling between quality and quantity of economic growth in GanSu province from 1997 to 2016.Describe the coupling evolution path of quality and quantity of economic growth in gansu province from 1997 to 2016.The results of empirical research show that the quality of economic growth in GanSu province is steadily improving,and the evaluation indexes of the six evaluation dimensions are generally good,with the quality index rising in recent years.The quantity index of economic growth in GanSu province has declined at present,and the government's adjustment of economic quality has a certain impact on economic quantity.But,with the rise of the quality index,the decline rate of the quantity index has slowed down,which indicates that the continuous improvement of quality has a positive impact on the quantity.The coupling analysis results show that the coupling degree of quality and quantity of economic growth in gansu province is in a steady rising state,and the coupling evolution of quality and quantity is gradually approaching the optimal path.In the future economic development,we should pay more attention to the quality economic growth and improve the sustainability of economic development while ensuring the economic quantity growth,so as to realize the joint improvement of the quality and quantity of economic growth.
