Since 2015,with the arrival of the"Internet +",major changes have taken place in the market environment,policy direction,financial supply,supply and demand factors,and unprecedented opportunities and challenges for the emerging intelligent hardware industry.As a subdivision of intelligent hardware——virtual reality(VR),it has become a hot spot at home and abroad.Its development is also changing with each passing day,but it also faces many problems,such as lack of technical standards,lack of content,and unbalanced enterprise development.Wait.In order to cope with the fierce market competition,VR companies should integrate their product strategies with the new technology concept according to their current situation,lay out their products in an optimal way,and fully consider the possible benefits of the relevant strategies in the process of strategy implementation risk.This paper chooses VR start-up company A as an example,thr-ough the research on the status of VR industry and the problems existing in product strategic management,using the Porter Five Force model and the external environment of the industry in which Company A is currently operating.Analysis,using the Boston matrix to analyze and sort out the current status of Company A’s products,aiming at the three major products of VR,AR and 3D TOF currently involved in Company A,and pointing out the company that Company A exists in product strategy based on its corporate characteristics.Insufficient strategy implementation,lack of product line strategy,unclear product life cycle division,unbalanced development of software and hardware,etc.,and selection,formulation and implementation of product strategy,mainly expounded four aspects of product strategy,namely portfolio strategy,positioning Strategy,development strategy and life cycle strategy;at the same time,the implementation of the product strategy and risk estimation have been arranged accordingly.Finally,the conclusions and prospects of this paper are put forward.It is hoped that through the analysis and research of this virtual reality technology enterprise,it can provide reference for the development of other technology-based startups in the early stage of their establishment.
