With the acceleration of the pace of economic globalization,the domestic economy has also developed rapidly,making China's retail industry get rapid development.At the same time,with the intensification of market competition at home and abroad,the market presented the flowers bloom,especially for foreign retail giants such as Carrefour,Metro,WalMart entered the China market,make the local supermarket chain in China is facing a series of new challenges,forcing the key point of management in retail enterprises in our country gradually from improving products quality,reduce operating costs and so on to strengthen management and improve the supply chain management model.Due to the complexity and instability of the supply chain itself,and the fact that supply chain management involves the internal control of enterprises in procurement,transportation,storage,sales and other factors,it has the characteristics of cross-department,cross-enterprise and cross-industry.All these factors will increase the financial risk and operational risk of the retail industry,thus affecting the operation ability and profitability of enterprises.In addition,with the rapid development of science and technology and information technology,supply chain provides enterprises with a better sharing platform for data sharing and exchange,and applies it to inventory management.Under this development trend,how to meet the rapidly changing needs of consumers,how to strengthen the cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises,how to realize the real-time sharing of acquired data on the platform,and at the same time reduce inventory costs have become the new requirements for the management of inventory in the supply chain of retail enterprises.Therefore,supply chain management is more and more important for enterprises to improve their competitiveness and achieve long-term development.At present,many scholars have made many researches on inventory management from the perspective of supply chain,but they mainly focus on the traditional manufacturing industry,and the research on the retail enterprises with short product life cycle and great demand for product quantity is insufficient to meet the needs of the industry for inventory management.Therefore,by analyzing the case of Rt-mart's inventory management from the perspective of supply chain,some problems and defects in the practice of Rt-mart are discovered.Then it makes an in-depth analysis of each aspect and explains it with data.Finally,some Suggestions on inventory management based on supply chain perspective are put forward.This has certain theoretical and practical significance for Rt-mart itself and even other enterprises in the same industry to improve the effect of inventory management in the supply chain.In this paper,normative research and case study are used to discuss and analyze.Firstly,the relevant concepts involved are defined by reviewing domestic and foreign supply chain management and relevant research literature on inventory management in this context.Secondly,the characteristics and significance of its role and other aspects are discussed;Thirdly,it introduces the basic contents,management methods and theoretical basis of inventory management from the perspective of supply chain.In the selection of cases,Rt-mart supermarket,a representative retail enterprise with a large amount of inventory,is selected as the research object.This is because Rt-mart,as a large domestic retail enterprise with a wide range of coverage,has a certain representativeness in the industry.Therefore,this article try to Rt-mart supermarket as the research object,analysis the situation of the supply chain inventory management status,and the analysis of the whole process of supply chain inventory flow,based on the Rt-mart supermarket inventory management platform construction and the upstream suppliers,downstream end users in the actual operation process are introduced,the application in order to find out in the enterprise inventory management problems as well as the foundation for the analysis of reason.At the same time,this paper on the basis of the financial data,charts and analysis of a series of operating and financial conditions,to discover the enterprise and supply chain inventory problems,and then with the supply chain under the perspective of YongHui supermarket comparison,the retail enterprises in the same industry to find data comparison and analysis,which provides reference for Rt-mart.This paper is divided into five parts for discussion: the first part,proposed the research background and significance of the paper,summarized the domestic and foreign research related to supply chain management and inventory management under this model,and introduced the main research ideas and research methods.The second part theoretically defines the definition of inventory management based on supply chain,focusing on the theoretical basis,basic contents and management methods of inventory management from the perspective of supply chain.The third part,mainly through the management and financial situation of Rt-mart supermarket,analyzes the current situation of inventory management in the perspective of supply chain management,combs the flow mechanism of inventory in the supply chain,and focuses on how Rt-mart supermarket to build the inventory management platform and the application of the platform in the actual operation and its effect,providing a basis for the discovery of problems and analysis of the reasons.The fourth part,mainly from a deeper level of analysis of the current Rt-mart in the supply chain situation inventory management problems still exist,and the causes of these problems.The fifth part,through the above part of Rt-mart supermarket inventory management problems and analysis,in view of the problems found in the corresponding recommendations and improvement measures,so as to provide practical guidance for China's retail enterprises can be used for reference.
