Research On The Trade Of Electronic Products Between China And Korea

As two major trading countries in Asia,China and Korea have established diplomatic relations for more than 20 years.The two countries are adjacent geographically,and have cultural connections,similar industrial structure and complementary resources,so their economic and trade relations are getting closer.Sino-Korea trade has achieved fruitful results.The bilateral trade volume reached US$268.44 billion in 2018.Although China has been in a trade deficit with Korea since the Asian financial crisis in 1997,the two countries are still one of the most important trading partners of each other.The economic and trade development of China and Korea has a huge influence and guidance for the East Asian economy and even the world economy.After entering the 21 st century,information technology has developed rapidly.Improving the development level and core competitiveness of the electronics industry is especially important for one country.China is also actively involved in the development tide and has remarkable achievement in the optimization and development of the electronics industry.China has shortened its technological gap with Korean electronics industry.Among the commodities exported by China,the proportion of electronics trade accounts for a large proportion of total exports.The development of electronics trade plays an important role in the adjustment of China's industry and trade structure.Korea's electronics industry started relatively early,with a solid foundation,and exports of electronic products accounted for a high proportion of total exports,and most of them were technology-intensive products.In the trade between China and Korea,the proportion of trade in electronic products in bilateral trade has also ranked first for many years.Therefore,the study of electronic products trade between China and Korea is particularly important.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of this topic,and illustrates the relevant viewpoints and research methods of domestic and foreign scholars,as well as the methods and ideas of this paper.The second chapter sorts out and analyzes the relevant international trade theories,which serves for the analysis and research in the trade of electronic products between China and Korea.The third chapter mainly analyzes the trade profile and product structure by subdividing product categories and combining charts,and expounds related problems in trade.The fourth chapter combines theories of international trade,analyzes the factors affecting the trade of electronic products between China and Korea,builds the gravity model and calculates the value of trade potential.Finally,it analyzes the trade potential of bilateral electronic products between China and Korea.The fifth chapter draws conclusions based on the analysis of the third and fourth chapter,and proposes relevant policy recommendations for the trade of electronic products between China and Korea.
