| With the continuous adjustment of the socialist market economy structure and the rapid development of the Internet economy in China,the number of people in flexible employment who rely on Internet for a living increase daily.There are some people in this group,they don’t sign a labor contract with the Internet platform,but they are employed by the platform and provide the platform with labor full-time for getting paid.This group is collectively referred to as the platform-based employment group.Due to their characteristics of high employment flexibility,income instability and labor relation ambiguity,as well as China has not been issued the pension insurance related laws and regulations for this group,they had many difficulties and obstacles to participate in the social pension insurance such as social insurance base and rate unaffordability,social security relations intransferability and the responsibility to pay social insurance premiums shirked by the employer platform.Most of the platform-based employment group cannot be integrated into the social security system,especially the uniform of social pensiont insurance.Therefore,when the government is vigorously promoting Internet employment,they must face the challenge of social security for the increasingly large group of the platform-based employment group at the same time.For the above problems,by using ’DiDi’ drivers as an example,this paper conducts a case interview with this group in Shenyang and analyzes the situation of domestic platform-based employment groups participating in insurance,and summarizes the reasons for this group’s difficulties in participating in insurance by two aspects of the group’s own factors(income,insurance concept,etc.)and social security system factors(social security relationship transfer and renewal procedures,payment base rate,etc.)References analyzing,comparative analyzing,case analyzing,survey analysis,case interview analysis and other methods will be used in this paper to help solve above problems.In conclusion,to overcome these difficulties and obstacles,China’s policies and systems should be improved in order to promote the platform-based employment groups to participate in the purpose of insurance. |
