Vegetables are essential foods on people’s daily table,and their quality and safety are closely related to people’s health.The vegetable supply chain includes multiple links,and if quality and safety issues arise,it is quite difficult to trace back.The traceability system can effectively solve the traceability problem of vegetable quality and safety,but the traceability system on the market is centralized storage.By accessing a single database to obtain traceable data,the traceable data has the risk of being easily falsified,and the authenticity of the traceability information cannot be ensured.How to ensure the security,uniqueness and unchangeability of traceability data is still one of the important issues facing the traceability system.The emergence of blockchain technology has brought new opportunities for the traceability of vegetable quality and safety.According to the distributed storage of the blockchain,decentralized accounting,encryption technology,and consensus mechanism,the data of each link in the traceability process is encrypted and stored.The decentralized and non-tamperable features of the blockchain technology are used,to ensure the authenticity of traceable data.Based on this,this paper designs a vegetable quality safety traceability system based on blockchain.In this paper,the development of traceability system at home and abroad and the existing problems are summarized.The characteristics of blockchain technology,current development and application,and the application of blockchain technology in traceability system are analyzed in depth.The feasibility of using blockchain technology in traceability system is proposed.Through the analysis of the process of planting,processing and circulation of vegetables in Renhe Town,Baiyun District,Guangzhou,the detailed design of the block source-based vegetable quality and safety traceability system was carried out.The system adopts SSH three-tier architecture,the data layer adopts SQL Server database,chooses Ethereum as the underlying technology platform of blockchain,and stores traceable data in database and blockchain to ensure the security of traceability data.According to the system architecture design,functional module division and database design,the blockchain-based vegetable quality and safety traceability system is realized.Finally,the authenticity of the traceable data is verified and the expected effect is achieved.Through research,blockchain technology is applied to traditional vegetable traceability systems.The data is stored in the form of a block to form a time-stamped block,which is connected into a chain according to the time sequence generated by the block.Using encryption technology to encrypt data,Mutual trust is achieved through consensus mechanisms without central control.Realize the characteristics of decentralization,non-tampering and non-forgery,ensure the safety and credibility of traceability data,make up for the deficiencies in the traceability system,It is of great significance to the security and reliability of traceable data.
